As a Senior Application Engineer based in our Strasbourg office, you will be responsible for serving our French and Western European customers through customization, integration and testing. You will join a highly collaborative and competent team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with various aspects of systems engineering, safety, hardware and software development in an exciting startup setting.
Manage integration and deployment projects in close collaboration with customers
Implement interface and customized software to integrate our product into our customer’s
Implement and field-test application-specific features for autonomous train control, including localization, mapping, obstacle detection and collision avoidance.
Define and execute system validation and tests (bench and field) all the way to customer acceptance.
Collaborate with the commercial team to set up successful demos and technical proposals to sign future customers. Spot and support opportunities for up-sales and new projects at existing customers
Proactively identify and resolve challenges to drive growth and enhance the success of both the team and the company.
A minimum of 10 years of proven work experience in developing code and managing software and hardware projects.
Experience in customer-facing roles.
Experience in embedded software, C/C++, Python and software engineering processes and tools.
Understanding of different perception sensors like LiDAR, camera and radar as well as computers
Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles or the rail environment is a big plus.
